Community health learning event for Arab-Americans

EVENT: Learn about Alzheimer’s disease in your community.

Health experts from the University of Michigan, Eastern Michigan University, Michigan State University and Wayne State University will connect with the Arab-American community to provide more information and resources to prevent memory loss and cope with aging.

Through the recently funded Michigan Center for Contextual Factors in Alzheimer’s Disease, the researchers aim to help make research on Alzheimer’s disease more inclusive and responsive to the needs of the Arab-American community.

The event is free and open to all. Appetizers, desserts and refreshments will be provided.

PLACE: Arab American National Museum, 13624 Michigan Ave., Dearborn, Mich.
