HAMDEN, Conn. – A three-goal second period from sixth-ranked Quinnipiac erased an early lead for the Dartmouth men’s hockey team Friday night as the Bobcats came away from the ECAC Hockey game with a 5-1 win.

Daniel Warpecha scored his first goal of the season with 20 seconds remaining the first period for the lone Big Green (5-8-2, 4-3-1 ECAC) as Quinnipiac (16-4-1, 7-3-1) found the back of the net three times in the second and another two in the third.

Dartmouth defeated Quinnipiac, 5-1, in the first meeting of the season in Hanover back on Nov. 3, but was returned the favor in identical fashion in Hamden.

Dartmouth heads to Princeton for a Saturday night tilt with the Tigers at Hobey Baker Rink. Game time is set for 7 p.m. and can be seen on ESPN+ or heard on 94 ESPN Radio.
