No. 5 Dartmouth Falls to No. 3 Penn on the Road

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – After a three-match break from an Ivy League foe, the No. 5 ranked Dartmouth men’s squash team faced No. 3 Penn and suffered a 6-3 defeat. The match was played at the Kline and Specter Squash center at Drexel. The Big Green fall to 7-4, while Penn improves to 11-1.
 
Reg Anderson and Jack Bell both won their matches in four games. Anderson took the first two games, 11-9 and 11-4 before falling in the third, 11-5. With a lead, Anderson secured the victory by taking the fourth game, 11-8. Jack Bell fell behind early, dropping the first game, 11-9. He then rebounded and won the final three games, 11-9, 11-4 and 11-5 to get the win.   
 
Tucker Martino won a tough, five-game match. Martino lost the first game, 13-11 and won the second, 11-9. His back was to the wall when he lost the third game, 12-10, but Martino won the final two, 11-3 and 11-7.
 
Dartmouth wraps up its Ivy League weekend when they face Princeton on the road on Sunday at 11 a.m.
