Big Green Men Finish Weekend With Loss at Princeton

PRINCETON, N.J. – The No. 5 ranked Dartmouth men’s squash team finished its Ivy League weekend with an 8-1 road loss at the hands of No. 8 Princeton Sunday morning. Dartmouth is now 7-5 on the season, while Princeton improves to 5-6.
 
Sam Epley was the only member of the Big Green to come away with a victory. Epley won in five games dropping the first, 11-3, before tying the match with an 11-6 win in the second game. Epley then fell, 11-4, in the third but took the final two games, 12-10 and 11-6, to defeat Princeton’s Daelum Mawji.
 
Carson Spahr fell in a competitive five game match where he lost the first two games, 11-4 and 11-6, but evened things up by winning the next two, 11-5 and 11-3, before dropping the fifth game, 11-6. Reg Anderson, Tucker Martino and Jack Bell all hung around with their opponents, but fell in four games.
 
The Big Green celebrate senior night on Friday night at home against Brown at 5 p.m. Carson Spahr, Sam Epley, Matt Giegerich and Zach Quayle will all be honored.
