Big Green Women Suffer 7-2 Setback at Yale

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Dartmouth women’s squash suffered a 7-2 setback at the hands of Yale in New Haven Sunday afternoon. The Big Green finish the regular season with a 5-7 record and 2-5 in the Ivy League, while Yale improves to 10-4 and 4-2 in the conference.   
 
Julia Potter and Emma Roberts were the two members of the Big Green to secure wins, doing so in five games. Potter fell in the first game, 12-10, but took the second, 11-9. Her opponent from Yale took the third game, 11-9, but Potter won the final two games, 12-10 and 11-8 to win the match.
 
Roberts got off to a fast start taking the first two games, 12-10 and 11-6. She then dropped the next two, 11-6 and 11-4, but was able to win the fifth, 11-9 to win her match.
 
The regular season is over the Big Green and they now turn their attention to the women’s championships in Hartford, Conn. Beginning on Feb. 22-24.
