Dartmouth Men Drop Match at Yale, 7-2

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Playing in its final regular season match of the season, the Dartmouth men’s squash team fell at Yale, 7-2. Dartmouth finishes with an 8-6 record and 3-4 in the Ivy League, while Yale is now 10-5 and 4-2 in the conference.
 
Matt Giegerich and James Bell both finished the day with hard fought, five game wins. Giegerich split his first two games, 11-7 and 11-4, he then dropped the third, falling behind 2-1, but he was able to take the final two games, 11-7 and 13-11. Bell also fell behind 2-1, but tied the match by taking the fourth, 11-6 and eventually won the fifth, 12-10.
 
Dartmouth now turns its attention to the men’s championships at Yale on Feb. 15-17.
