Gaudet Announces Teams Coming to 31st Annual Ledyard Classic

HANOVER, N.H. – Koenig Family Head Coach of Dartmouth Men’s Hockey Bob Gaudet ’81 has announced the field of teams coming to Hanover for the 31st Annual Ledyard Classic.
Joining the Big Green at Thompson Arena for the two-day tournament on Dec. 28-29 will be UConn, Colorado College and St. Lawrence.
“We’re very excited to once again welcome a trio of exciting teams to Hanover for the Ledyard Classic,” Gaudet said. “This should once again be a very entertaining weekend of Division I hockey that we are looking forward to providing fans of the Upper Valley.
“We are thankful for the continued support of those at Ledyard National Bank who provide us with the resources that make this one of the best mid-season college hockey tournaments in the nation,” Gaudet added.
St. Lawrence and UConn open the tournament with a 4 p.m. game on Saturday, Dec. 28 with Dartmouth and Colorado College playing the 7 p.m. contest. The game between the Big Green and Tigers will mark the first between the two since 1954 and the first in Hanover after the first six straight in Colorado Springs more than a half century ago.
On Sunday, the Saints will play CC in the early game with Dartmouth and UConn taking to the ice in the 7 p.m. slot.
