Participants will then be offered an 8-week research-based cognitive behavior therapy group that teaches skills to cope with depression, and will be asked to complete additional assessments during and after treatment. Financial compensation will provided.

Children ages 8-10-years-old may be eligible to participate with a parent or legal guardian. Parents and children will be asked to complete questionnaires. Additionally, children will be asked to complete computer tasks, as well as surveys on a smart phone provided by the study team. A small number of children can also complete an fMRI brain scan. Financial compensation and prizes will be provided.
