What? New mural installations at Underground at Ink Block

When? Today, June 25, through Saturday, June 29, from 9 am to 9 pm

Where? Between the South End and South Boston. Take an MBTA Red Line train to Broadway or walk about a mile from the Green Line Boylston stop. Bike storage and a limited number of parking spots are also available.

How much? Free

Why should I go? Have you ever wondered what it takes to spray-paint a mural? This week, you can see street artists in action at the Underground at Ink Block, as renowned artists from Boston and around the world add eight new installations.

With the addition of these murals, Underground at Ink Block will be one of the biggest public street art installations in New England, with a total of 19 murals. After opening in September 2017, the park received recognition from the Urban Land Institute and the now-defunct Improper Bostonian.

Watch for other events this summer at the Underground at Ink Block, among them weekly yoga classes and a donut festival. Find more details here.
