Biostatistics to Host Carnegie Mellon Researcher for Seminar

The department of biostatistics and epidemiology, part of the School of Public Health and Health Sciences, will host a seminar, “Nonparametric causal effects based on incremental propensity score intervention,� on Friday, Oct. 11 at 10 a.m. in Life Science Laboratories N210.

The free, public talk will be given by Edward Kennedy, assistant professor of statistics and data science at Carnegie Mellon University.

The talk proposes a more realistic way to define and estimate the causal effect of an exposure occurring longitudinally.
