During Illinois Homecoming, vivid orange and blue is displayed in every corner of Champaign-Urbana. It’s time to celebrate the remarkable people and history of our university and community.

109 years ago, the first homecoming celebration ever was held on this very campus. If you’re going anywhere to celebrate homecoming, Illinois is the place to do it.

  • For those who want to get festive with their food, a Carnival Dinner and a free Pancake Breakfast are on the menu.
  • For those who want to celebrate their school spirit, the Homecoming Parade is the place to be.
  • For those who want to experience the diversity and unity of campus, the Global Talent Show features song, dance and different performances brought to life by members of the Illini community.
