Dartmouth Withstands UMass Lowell’s Comeback Attempt, 62-51

LOWELL, Mass. – Dartmouth led by as many as 19 in the third quarter, but UMass Lowell stormed back to cut its deficit to five in the final minutes of the game. That was as close as the home team would get as the Big Green (5-3) would hang on for their second straight win of the year, 62-51. The River Hawks (3-8) see their three-game winning streak come to an end.

Four players scored in double figures for Dartmouth. Asha Taylor set a career high with 12 points, sinking four 3-pointers and grabbed six rebounds. Annie McKenna also had 12 for her seventh game in double-digits to go along with four assists and four rebounds. Katie Douglas finished with 11 points and four rebounds, and Paula Lenart posted 10 and five boards. Elle Louie filled the stat sheet with eight points, five rebounds and five assists.
