HANOVER, N.H. – Down 3-0 in the first period proved to be nothing more than a speed bump for the Dartmouth men’s hockey team Saturday night against visiting BU.
The Big Green (8-5-3) scored three straight in a one minute and 40-second stretch to tie the game before the first intermission and then used two goals from Drew O’Connor in 47 seconds in the middle frame to earn the 5-4 win.
The Big Green are home next weekend against Clarkson and St. Lawrence on Friday and Saturday nights. Both games are 7 p.m. start times with the game against the Saints part of an evening in which the program will honor Lee Stempniak ’05, Tanner Glass ’07 and Ben Lovejoy 06 on their NHL careers.
