Dartmouth Steals Ivy League Opener From Harvard, 63-62

HANOVER, N.H. – Trailing by one with 17 seconds left in regulation, Katie Douglas knocked away Harvard’s inbounds pass and Annie McKenna broke away for the winning layup. Then, as they did all game, the defense stepped up and did not allow the Crimson to get a last-second shot off, sealing the 63-62 victory Saturday afternoon at Leede Arena.

Dartmouth gets its overall record to 7-7, but most importantly, starts league play at 1-0, while Harvard falls to 9-5 and 0-1 in the conference.
