THIS WEEKEND
Dartmouth men’s lacrosse will play its home opener this Saturday, welcoming Bryant to Scully-Fahey Field for a 12 p.m. game.
 
LAST TIME OUT
The Big Green opened the 2020 season last Saturday with a win, defeating two-time Division II national champion Merrimack, 13-11, in the Warriors’ second game as a DI program.
 
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
After his first game in a Green and White jersey, Tommy Rogan was named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week. He scored four goals and tacked on two assists against Merrimack, scoring all three of Dartmouth’s goals in the fourth quarter. He was second on the team with six points.
 
PRINCE PRODUCES PLENTIFUL POINTS
George Prince led the attack against the Warriors, ending the game with a career-high nine points from six goals and three assists to lead the team. He is currently second in the nation in goals per game and third in points per game.
 
SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
Bryant heads into its fourth game with an overall record of 1-2 following losses to Bucknell (11-9) and Providence (16-9) and a 15-10 victory over Boston University on Tuesday.
 
Two players have already made it to double-digit points: Marc O’Rourke (8-6-14) and Jake Buonaiuto (10-2-12).
 
LAST TIME AGAINST BRYANT
On Feb. 23, 2019, the Bulldogs walked away with a 6-5 victory over the Big Green in a very low-scoring game that saw neither team net more than two goals in any given quarter.
 
Jimmy Heidt led the team with three points from two goals and an assist, while five other players ended the contest with one point each. Hincks played all 60 minutes, making 15 saves.
 
BETWEEN THE PIPES
Daniel Hincks played a good game against Merrimack, making 14 saves to pick up the victory.

The Big Green are stacking up well against their conference opponents in non-conference games.
