HANOVER, N.H. — The Woods Watch Party lands for the second week on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. with the streaming of the 2017 game against Holy Cross at Memorial Field on the Dartmouth Football YouTube channel. Defensive coordinator Don Dobes, running back Ryder Stone ’18 and defensive lineman Jeremiah Douchee ’17 will join Tyler Murray in talking about the strategies and plays that went into the game as well as their Dartmouth experience.
Coming off a 38-7 season-opening win at Stetson the week prior, the Big Green had their sights set on toppling a Holy Cross squad that was ranked 25th in the nation entering the game. Dartmouth had won the previous two meetings and four of the past six, all but one of which was decided by eight points or fewer.
Stone made quite a season debut in his senior campaign at Stetson, rushing for 96 yards on just 17 carries as Dartmouth racked up 324 yards on the ground against the Hatters, the team’s most in four years. Douchee, one of the team captains, contributed one tackle to the win in Florida but would take on a much larger role against the Crusaders in this contest.
