New feature expands Heard Libraries’ Scan and Deliver service

The libraries are pleased to introduce a new button to “request chapter/article scan” found in the bibliographic record for any user logged into their library account. (Please see screen shot below)

When selected, the button sends you to the “Article/Book Chapter Request” form. Initially rolled out to faculty, it is now available to all members of the University community.  If you need journal articles, book chapters, or any other part of printed publications from the university libraries*, and you prefer not to visit the libraries in person, simply request that the item be scanned and delivered to you. Your scanning request will post to your ILL account.

It’s just the latest greatest thing from your VU Libraries’ contactless, matchless document delivery services!

*Biomedical and Law libraries have their own document delivery service. Special Collections and University Archives are excluded from this service. Please visit their websites to learn more.
